The fire raged fiercely through the forest. I looked back with horror in my eyes. The campsite was now abandoned as the fire had taken it. It was nothing but smoke now. I carried on running I couldn't let the fire catch up with me. I turned to try and see the others but they were lost in the fire along with everything else. I passed so many people who desperately needed my help. I have an extra tear in my eye for each and every one of them but if I was going to survive this I had to think of me and only me. I started to run faster yelping every time I stood on a fiery branch, shattered glass, lost or forgotten toys and sometimes a bone or two
